A ATO Import orgulha-se de anunciar que o múltiplas vezes Campeão Nacional, Campeão Europeu e Vice-Campeão do Mundo; Miguel “THE Cantifulas” Matias [ ] assinou pela JQ Products depois de ter experimentado o carro de pré-produção várias vezes em 2010, e mais recentemente o “THE Car” 100% produção ao longo de intensas sessões de testes no início de 2011. O Miguel junta-se assim ao pilotos João Gomes, Alex Hardt, Chad Bradley e Joseph Quagraine na equipa de fábrica da JQ Products, bem como a todos os pilotos que até agora foram apresentados a nível da ATO Import (Tiago Leal, Gabriel Magalhães, Joel Soares, André Lima, Miguel Pires e António Peixe).

We are happy!!! “Miguel Matias joins JQ team 3rd place finisher at the last Euros held in his home country of Portugal and ’03 European Champion Miguel Matias has been confirmed at JQ Products. The announcement comes very soon after Losi drivers Billy Fischer & Taylor James joined 1/8th newbie rivals Team Durango. Matias is one of the most highly respected racers in the 1/8th community, along with Yannick Aigoin he has performed at the top level for 10+ years now; his list of merits is quite extraordinary with two World Championship podium finishes in Vegas ’00 & Sweden ’04. He is also ten-time Portuguese Champion, and has won it the last three times all with different cars and engines! (2010: Losi/RB, 2009: GS/Ninja, 2008: Kyosho/Sirio). Whilst much of the headlines have been dominated by driver changes & reconfirmations, the successful signing of Miguel Matias is a strong addition to the JQ team of drivers and represent their #1 driver (based on Worlds finishing positions).
